Errata Page for 525 Performance Tuning a Domino R5 Infrastructure

This page lists the changes, clarifications, and corrections that we've made to various questions in the 525 Performance Tuning a Domino R5 Infrstructure Practice Test.  If you have feedback about a question that is not listed below, please send an email to feedback@advancedclp.com.

Changes to version 3.03.03 and released in version 3.03.04

Question #21: Joan wants to make sure that the ACL on here database is identical on all database replicas on all servers, as well as on all local replicas that users make on workstations or laptops.  How would she do this?
Change: Answer was incorrectly stated as D.  Correct answer is B.

Changes to version 3.03.04 and released in version 3.03.05

Question #144: Where can David go to find information about Domino server statistics?
Change: Correct answer could not be selected due to presence of commas in the answer.  Commas were removed.

Changes to version 3.03.05 and released in version 3.03.06

Question #112: Claire is a system administrator for ACME Domain. She wants to route mail to the FOO Domain via the MELLOW Domain. What type of document will she need to create in the Domino Directory for the FOO domain?
Change: Changed question to improve clarity.  New wording -> "Claire is a system administrator for ACME Domain. She wants to route mail to the FOO Domain via the MELLOW Domain. What type of document will she need to create in the ACME Domino Directory for the FOO domain?"

Question #11: Anna wants to see statistics about mail routing so that she can investigate mail performance problems reported by mail users. Which of the following server console commands could she use to see these statistics?
Change: Reason specified that TELL ROUTER STATS and TELL ROUTER SHOW STATS were not valid console commands.  Reason was reworded to "Answer A is not a valid console command. Answers B and D are valid console commands however they do not provide the statistics required by Anna. Answer C is correct. The SHOW STAT MAIL command will list statistics relevant to the mail router."

Changes to version 3.03.06 and released in version 3.03.07

Question #100: Which of the following shows the correct list of server tasks that are related to Domino clustering?
Change: Answer A, B and C incorrectly specified the name of the Cluster Replicator task as CLPREPL where it should have been CLREPL.  Updated to show the the correct name.

Question #107: Look at the following routing system.  Company1 has three internal Domains. Individual routing connection documents have been created between: Domain1 and Domain2, Domain 2 and Domain3, Domain 3 and Domain1.  A new administrator decided to set up Domain2 as a Hub domain where all mail will get routed through. Which one of the following Connection document changes can be made given the new situation?
Change: Although still correct, Answer A neglected to mention that non-adjacent domain documents would also be required for successful mail routing.  This made the answers ambiguous.  The question and answers were reworded to avoid ambiguity.

Question #60: Noelene is designing a Notes database and she wants to use a 'Private on First Use' view. To avoid the view being created in the DESKTOP.DSK of the users' workstations, which of the following ACL settings must be checked (activated)?
Change: The Answer and Reason both stated that Answer A was correct and the Redbook reference backed up this answer.  However it was found that Answer B was actually the correct answer.  Updated question to reflect the correct answer and to provide a doclink to the Domino Designer Help.

Changes to version 3.03.08 and released in version 3.03.09

Question #110: Jason is setting up a passthru server called Server1/ACME to enable his dial-in users to connect through to their home mail server which is called Server2/ACME. Which of the following settings would he need to place in the "Destinations Allowed" field in the server document of Server2/ACME?
Change: Answer D was specified as the correct answer however both Answers B and D were correct.  Updated question to make Answer B incorrect.

  Question #130: Jerry wants to improve the performance of his Domino web application. The web application makes heavy use of agents. To improve performance of the web application Jerry could?
Change: Minor typo in Answer C was corrected.  Answer C now reads "Set the Input Timeout in the server document".

  Question #66: Ben wants to temporarily halt replication between some of his servers. Which of the following methods could he use to do this?
Change: Question wording was improved to remove ambiguity.  Question now reads: "Ben is the Administrator of Domain ACME which contains two servers. Ben wants to halt replication between the two servers. Which of the following methods could he use to do this?".  Answer B was also changed to : "B. Set the Connection Documents to Disabled then replicate then changes and restart the replicator on each server".

  Question #51: David wants to remove some of the load on his mail server by preventing type ahead addressing. Where could he go to activate a setting to prevent type-ahead addressing?
Change: Answers C and D were both technically correct since Configuration documents are stored in the Domino Directory.  Changed Answer D to read "D. Domain Document".

Changes to version 3.03.09 and released in version 3.03.10

  Question #147: Which of the following lists the 4 types of Monitors that Domino supports?
Answers A, B and C were all labelled as Answer A.  Answers adjusted accordingly.

  Question #247: Fernando is a member of the ACME_ADMIN group in the Domino Directory. He has saved a scheduled agent in database app1.nsf which is located on Server1/ACME. He sets the agent to run on the server at 10 p.m. The ACME_ADMIN group is contained in the Run Unrestricted Agents field in the server document of Server1/ACME. When the agent runs, what will it NOT be able to do?
Question wording was improved to remove ambiguity.  The word "Can't" was removed from Answers A, B and C.

Question #178: Jonas is using a very slow network connection and his Notes client is timing out. Where can he go to configure the TCP/IP timeout value?
Answer incorrectly specified a menu option that does not exist; 'File-Tools-User-Preferences-Ports-TCPIP Options'.  Correct answer should have been 'File-Preferences-User Preferences-Ports-TCPIP Options'.

 
Question #93:  Abdul wants to set up a SMTP server that will route Internet mail for his whole organization. To minimize load on his server, which of the following NOTES.INI settings could he use to prevent CD to MIME conversion for incoming mail?
Answers A and B were missing the letter 't' in the NOTES.INI settings MailConvertMimeOnTransfer and MailNoConvertMIME.

  Question #185:  Which of the following database settings can be used to improve performance of a Domino R5 database?
Answer D could not be selected properly due to a comma in the answer text which caused the answer to be deselected when moving to the next question.  Comma was removed.
