| Product Security and Limited Usage |
| Our products have two types of security measures built in;
product expiry and individual licenses. Please read the
following information carefully so that you understand how these
security measures affect you.
Individual and non-transferrable license - important....please read! Our products are secured to an individual user and are not transferable. When you purchase any of our products, you will be asked to provide the Lotus Notes user name of the person who is intending to use the product. To protect your privacy you will not be asked for your full Lotus Notes name, only your 'common name'. e.g. John Smith rather than John Smith/ORG/ACME. We will create license file for the product database which contains the user name you have specified. The user you have specified will be the ONLY person who can access the database. If you purchase multiple license, all of the user names that you specify will be able to access the product via the same license file. Please ensure that you type the user name correctly, otherwise you will not be able to access the product. If you are buying the product for someone else, please ensure that you specify their user name, not yours. Product Expiry Some AdvancedCLP products have built in software expiry that will prevent the products from being used after a specified number of days after the date of purchase. The length of time before expiry is reflected in our pricing model. The longer the expiry time, the more expensive the product will be. AdvancedCLP offers products which do not expire, however they are more expensive than the limited use products. The time limited products have the same features and capabilities as the unlimited versions.
